Do you offer same-day service?

Yes, we do offer same-day service from 8am to 5pm weekdays, subject to engineer availability, with our emergency response service.

Our highly trained engineers service the whole of Essex and neighbouring borders.

Am I able to choose a specific time or day for my repair, installation or service that suits me?

We offer appointments weekdays between 8am – 4pm for any work you wish to have carried out.

 

Our engineers will be with you within a four-hour timeslot appointment.  Our timeslots are as follows:

Mornings from 8am to 12 Noon
Afternoons from 12 Noon to 4pm. 

If there is a specific time you would like to request, our customer service team will do their utmost to accommodate, but due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to guarantee a fixed time of arrival.

What kind of properties do you service?

We provide multi-trade assistance to residential customers, and in addition, to a wide range of organisations, including restaurants, garden centres, offices, schools, hospitals, public services, and more.


Whether you need installation, repair, or maintenance, our skilled engineers deliver customised solutions.

Do you charge for hourly rate work or fixed price work?

We aim to service and repair as quickly as possible. Most of our services are quoted on a minimum of one hour (the first hour is charged at this rate regardless of the time spent onsite) and thereafter at half hourly increments rates. Our quoted rates exclude materials (unless advised) and are subject to applicable VAT at the standard rate set by HMRC.

 

Occasionally, some of our jobs are set at fixed price fees. Therefore, we advise customers in advance of the work commencing in case the job is a fixed fee.


Any works over £1,000 will require a 50% deposit upfront and in addition to this we can now offer finance referrals. Please click this link for more information. 

Do I need to be in for my installation, service, or repair?

An adult, aged 18 and over, must be present at the property for our engineers to carry out the work.

For some residential quotation services that are labour-intensive, we charge a nominal survey fee which can be redeemed should the quotation proceed within 14 days.

 

Repairs, servicing, and emergencies, are normally charged based on hourly and half-hourly labour rates, excluding materials (unless advised) and are subject to applicable VAT at the standard rate set by HMRC.

How long is your labour and parts warranty?

All our services are backed by our 12-month standard guarantee of workmanship and all materials and products are covered by full manufacturers’ warrantees.

What is not included in the guarantee?

If full payment has not been paid and received by us, we are not obliged to provide, or issue any guarantees.

 

Our warranty does not cover:

 

  • Materials supplied by the customer or other third-party companies. We will not accept liability for any damage or faults as a result.
  • Any systems damaged or tampered with by a third party.
  • Work carried out on the instruction of the customer which goes against our professional advice.
  • Damage or defect arising from work that is not fully guaranteed or where work has not been carried out.
  • Liability for any hazardous circumstances as a result of applicable regulations, or warning notices issued.
What is your liability insurance?

Our public liability insurance covers the cost of claims made for incidents that occur in connection with our business activities. Our public liability cover is up to £5,000,000 for any one occurrence.

Which payment types do you accept?

We prefer to accept payments via BACS Direct Credit or CHAPS transfer.


We also accept most payments including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, and debit cards.
